Because it's There

Born in New York and based in San Francisco, California, I love to explore. 

Because it's There is an homage to a quote by George Mallory. It was his response to the question why he endeavored to climb Everest. It is a simple distillation of a much deeper, complex drive to endure a raging wind storm at the top of a dune,  take a long approach with pounds on pounds of gear, aim for the top of the peak, glide through a snowy forest by moonlight with an excruciatingly heavy pack, and all the other kinds of journeys that test resilience and grit.
